The lots...

The lots in our “Silver Birch Estates” development are characterized by a dreamlike mixed forest, which consists mainly of large, old maple trees and magnificent silver birch trees. These white birches are also the eponym of this development, as they are called “Silver Birch” in English. We are already looking forward to the autumn, the so-called Indian Summer when the leaves on the trees change colour and the maple trees then shine in the most beautiful red and the birches in cheerful yellow.

“Silver Birch Estates” consists of 22 beautiful lots of land, 20 of which are located to the left and right along an existing access road, which will be completely renewed in the next few weeks. Subsequently, we will have the power lines laid along the development road and the property boundaries – as is customary in our developments.

The development...

The entire development leads from the public road gently up the hill to about 130 metres above sea level. As you can see from the photos, we have visited this wonderful development at different times of the year. Visits in winter have the advantage that the trees have no leaves, so we had a wonderful view through the trees to the peninsulas in front of it, as well as an indescribable wide view of Bras d’Or Lake.

With an appropriate clearing of the trees, you can of course also enjoy this dream view all year round.

The community lots...

In addition, there are two community lots in the Silver Birch development. The first is a lot that will not be sold and built on, as there is a super beautiful lake in the middle of the lot. This lot can be used by all residents for walking and lingering. Another highlight of this development is the second community lot on Bras d’Or Lake. Directly opposite the development, there is a community lot in the immediate vicinity that leads down to a sheltered bay of Bras d’Or Lake.

There is already a path that goes to the shore, so this lot can be used by all residents of the Silver Birch Estates development to go swimming, spend the day at the beach, paddle a canoe or kayak, or even launch a motorboat.

The Silver Birch Estates development is located in Malagawatch, a very popular area where many German-speaking people have settled in recent years. On the way there, you will pass the ever-popular beach at Marble Mountain, which in summer boasts a glistening white beach with lovely turquoise waters.

It takes about 40 minutes by car to get to Port Hawkesbury, which has all the amenities of daily life, including schools, shopping, restaurants, workshops, etc. In the other direction, you can reach the small village of Wycocomagh in only 25 minutes, where there are also shopping facilities, a pharmacy, a petrol station etc.

The access road...

As mentioned earlier, the development road climbs gently up the hill.
